I'm Debbie Duthie

 

I used to be just like you. Getting out of bed like a zombie, downing a cup of tea, going to work, coming home, fuelling myself with chocolate and more cups of tea, walk the dog and go to bed early because I was so so tired only to stay awake in bed all night. Finally falling asleep only to wake up at 3am with an overwhelming feeling of dread and huge amounts of anxiety. 

 I would see my family and friends, but I didn’t enjoy it. I would go on holiday but I didn’t enjoy it. I would go shopping but I didn’t enjoy it. I had a campervan I loved but didn't use. 

 Self reflection has always been a skill of mine, having a BSc in Psychology and significant experience mentoring adults from previous roles I set about a journey to help myself cope better with life and actually begin to enjoy it again.

I had to accept I might have an addiction to stress (and chocolate). I was making the effort to go through the motions of life and I was taking my stress and negative mindset with me.

 

When I designed & Chill, I included every single technique and strategy I used to heal myself and start living again. This programme includes everything I did and everything I have learned and it continues to evolve as I learn new skills along the way.
